South Park and Tom Cruise

The recent South Park episode featuring Tom Cruise and Scientology is being pulled from the airwaves and not even shown in the UK, apparently because Cruise is threatening to sue.

You can view the video, along with a host of others, at Scientomogy.

Thanks for the extra link on my blog... Hope that this becomes the most watched episode of South Park ever... it's a freedom of speech issue now.

Absolutely. Cruise thinks he can go on an international campaign, critisizing Brooke Shields and telling everyone on psychiatric medication that they're no different than crackheads and then not be criticized himself? What an egomaniac. If he's going to be that public with his beliefs, people have every right to question and make fun of them.

Most celebrities have taken being mocked by South Park in stride, but I can certainly understand how someone may not necessarily find the joke funny when they're the butt end of it. But to try and get the show banned? That's just going too damn far.

Though I can't say I'm surprised. This is a very typical Scientology tactic.

Idiots, it is the church of scientology itself who ban it. Have you ever heard of its practizes?

I am sick media having no balls to take against the cos but only a man because he is famous?

Fuck off. Seriously. Like I wrote above, he had deliberately situated himself as the public face of Scientology by his OWN ACTIONS. You are apparently either too stupid or too lazy to have a look around this site to notice that it's set up to criticize the church itself and since Tom took up his public crusade to pitch for it, he deserves to be criticized right along with the rest of Scientology.
